Camp Imua Hawai`i Island, under the leadership of Kahu Charlie Kama and Kahu Emma Chong and teamed with hundreds of volunteers, will be implementing its 8th annual camp this year. This camp is designed for children whose parent(s) are incarcerated here in Hawai'i or elsewhere and our heart is to share "Agape" which means, "God's Unconditional Love" with these children. This three day camp is free to these children and is filled with intentional series of activities and events that facilitate sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His teachings of love, trust, forgiveness, hope, and prayer. It is our mission to break the cycle of incarceration by guiding and showing these children that they are special, that they are loved, and to instill faith and hope in them to become productive and contributing members of our community.
