  • Children’s and Youth Ministry

Assisting and caring for the needs of our keiki, to allow their parents the opportunity to sit in service and hear the Word of God. We offer assistance with Nursery (0-2 yrs), Children (3-6 yrs) and Youth (7-12 yrs). Our main purpose is to help “train our keiki in the ways of the Lord so when they grow up, they will not part from it.”

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

    Matthew 19:14 (NLT)

  • Food Service

This ministry is in charge of preparing and serving our congregation before, during and after service with beverages, coffee, sandwiches and snacks. They also assist in Special Events, such as water baptisms and church functions that involve food.

The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve…” Mark 10:45 (NLT)

  • Frontlines

Praise and Worship and sound is more than just singing, playing an instrument and plugging in a cord, it is a discipleship that always leads us to Jesus in everything we do.  We also include drama and hula in such a way that brings glory and honor to Jesus Christ.  With the Holy Spirit's direction, we will redeem the arts for the glory of God and present it in relevant way that will reach the heart. Frontlines is more than a ministry, it is a life style.

“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!”  Psalms 98:4 (ESV)

  • Men’s Ministry

Ke Ola Hou’s Men’s Ministry is not about building a big ministry, but it’s about building big men for the ministry. And together, as Iron sharpens Iron, God builds men into better husbands, fathers, and men, while transforming lives and households.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”.  Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

  • Women’s Ministry

Na Wahine ‘O Hale Pule Ke Ola Hou, our mission is to love and support women in their relationship with God through spiritual friendships.  Together, we will help draw women closer to the heart of God through acceptance, encouragement, love and prayer.  We will learn, grow and bloom in Christ Jesus as He reveals His extraordinary plan for our lives.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 (NKJV)

  • Hospitality

We are the connecting point of the church as we get to welcome our congregation each Sunday with a warm hug and smile. We are also here to answer any questions you may have or to point you to the correct leaders for them to assist.  We also are the Information Center of Hale Pule Ke Ola Hou.

The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain.” Isaiah 25:6 (NASB)

  • Ushers

We have the pleasure of assisting people if needed to their seats and are called upon during our service, to pass out a bulletin, help with our receiving of our tithes and offering and assist in serving Communion.  We are here to help you.

Contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality”.

    Romans 12:13 (NASB)

  • Levites

The Levites in the old biblical days were assigned to set up the sanctuary.  That’s what we love and get to do. We prepare the sanctuary by the setting up and breaking down of the stage, the chairs and cafeteria tables, sound, children’s ministry, as well as information center and the prayer tent.

"But you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furnishings and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it; they shall also camp around the tabernacle.” Numbers 1:50 (NASB)

  • Multi Media

We are the ones that are often not seen.  We work behind the scenes preparing the media, making slides and video presentations, making sure they are programmed in the computer.  We have a person following on the computer during our service to make sure our songs, message, scriptures and points are presented on our TV screens for the congregation to follow.  This ministry also includes our church web site, taking pictures at our services and for special functions, posting on Social Media and making the bulletins.

"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people…”

    Ephesians 6:7 (NIV)

  • Prayer Ministry

Statement is GOD, JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT leading the words and actions of the team, willing to stand in the gap and intercede for the request of the hearts needing prayer.  This ministry shall bring an atmosphere of honor, trust, peace and love where confidentiality and joy of CHRIST is evident for hearts to trust and release all requests unto FATHER GOD!

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people”.  Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

  • Programming

Plans and prepares accordingly, insuring all aspects of our service with our Kahu’s synopsis for each weeks service. We also coordinate our floor and sound coordinators for any last minute changes or needs of our Kahu’s.

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

    1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

  • Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry takes the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the correctional facilities on Hawaii Island.  If you have the heart to minister God's love to those incarcerated or to those recently released from prison, we would love to have you on our team.

"I was in prison and you came to visit me’ ... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:36, 40 (NLT)
